Media: Googling leads to Man's Arrest reports IndyChannel

Source: IndyChannel.com, 5 February 2004
Submitted by Ann Light

The IndyChannel tells the story of a woman googling her latest date only to set up a trap with the FBI on finding him a 'wanted' man.

The man was wanted for defrauding Cincinnati out of $184,000, but it took a year before the FBI caught up with him and it was only after a tip-off when his date decided to 'google' him to check his background. He was arrested where they had agreed to meet.
