Unusual Interfaces: Human Beans' Fictional Products in Berlin

Source: UN, 31 August 2004
Submitted by Ann Light

Human Beans, a collaboration between designers Mickael Charbonnel and Chris Vanstone, has an exhibition of its fictional products at the moment.

"Spam" is running for another couple of days at Neurotitan, Berlin (Schwarzenberg e.V. , Rosenthalerstraße 39). However, if you cannot make it, pop into the virtual version linked below.

Featuring films and installations of the products released between 2001 and 2003,
alongside new work created for and during the show, "Spam" captures the off-beat, sometimes satirical and always inventive style of the duo. Consider "Family Project": 'Easy to use time saving tools to manage your family and their activities. For PC & Mac. 2004'.

A place to reflect on the absurdities of our daily life and the role that technology plays.
