Date: 25 June 2007 to 27 June 2007
Source: UN, 16 October 2006
Submitted by Ramanee Peiris

The 12th Annual ACM-SIGCSE Conference on Innovation & Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE 2007) on Inclusive Education in Computer Science takes place from 25-27th June 2007, University of Dundee, Scotland

More detailed information (including submission details) is available on the conference website at: http://iticse2007.computing.dundee.ac.uk , where you can additionally register your interest in the conference.

ACM SIGCSE provides a forum for us, computing teachers, to learn. We learn not only from those presenting papers, from those involved in working groups and from those giving tutorials but also from - and especially from - the community of our peers and colleagues. Normally we teach students: here we learn from each other. ITiCSE provides opportunities for peer learning – and we welcome submissions on all aspects of computer science education, and particularly for ITiCSE 2007, those which address the theme "Inclusive Education in Computer Science".

Key topics:
* inclusive education in computer science, including
- disability
- gender
- wider access

* computer science teaching and pedagogy, including
- Laboratory/Active Learning
- Assessment
- Classroom Management

* computer science curricula, syllabi, and courses, including
- Artificial Intelligence
- Databases
- Human-Computer Interaction
- Operating Systems
- Software Engineering

Deadlines:
15th January 2007 Papers, Panels, Tutorials & Working Groups
12th March 2007 Tips & Techniques, Posters, Students Posters & Demonstrations of Software/Courseware

Ramanee Peiris, University of Dundee, Scotland & Paul Tymann, Rochester Institute of Technology, USA (Program co-chairs)
