High profile User Experience Design role in a newly formed User Experience team at major pioneering software vendor – influencing a large product range (includes enterprise grade management applications, rich web portals, 2D/3D simulation software), and contributing to all aspects of User Research, Interaction Design, Usability Engineering and Usability Testing.
Guided by our User Experience Architect, and as a key addition to one of the most exciting high growth teams within our global business, your remit is likely to include;
- Working with customers and users to understand workflow, needs and expectations - Designing as part of multi-discipline team, sharing ideas to achieve the best possible designs - Collaborating with developers to ensure designs are well communicated and meet original objectives - Working with test teams and documenters to explore usability issues and communicate designs as they develop - Enthuse and educate staff at all levels, in various departments, about the user centred design process and the benefits it brings - As the User Experience discipline grow, communicate with sales, marketing and customer support groups to further understand and contribute towards the overall product experience.
We welcome interest from Usability professionals who are passionate about good design, who have excellent communication skills and who are keen to take on new technical concepts and challenges. Formal education in a relevant topic such as HCI / Human Factors would be a distinct advantage but not essential.
