New Accessible Mobile Phones to be launched In the UK

Source: UN, 20 November 2007
Submitted by Joanna Bawa

Accessible mobile phones are scarcely available in the UK and have never been available for free on contract until now. A new product range from Doromobile breaks this trend with easy to use, basic mobile phones.

The two new mobile phones are the HandleEasy and the HandlePlus, free on Vodafone contract or just £79 for the HandlePlus 324gsm on Pay As You Go and £99 for the HandleEasy 326gsm - making them the cheapest accessible mobiles in the UK.

All Doromobile mobile phones have simple basic features that make them easy to use, with large buttons, simple functions, and no complicated menus or features to navigate. With 2 million hearing aid users in the UK, these are the first mobile phones available with ear hooks for hearing aid users.

- doro HandleEasy 326gsm: an easy to use mobile phone for simply making and receiving calls. Direct memory buttons and a larger keypad and display make dialing easier, while a vibrating ringer announces incoming calls. The soft touch surface provides better grip, and there is an easily activated speakerphone for added convenience.

- doro HandlePlus 324gsm: make and receive calls away from home with one push of a button.

The new phones are to be launched 20th November 2007 and will be available through UK Doro Distributor MatobMobile at doromobile.com.
