Information Architect: Online Gaming
Location: London
Salary: 30-60k (dependant on experience)

Betfair, the world's first and largest betting exchange with over 25 million bets placed per day. It is arguably Britain's greatest internet success story and has become one of the biggest online trading operations in Europe since its launch just over 6 years ago. We have been named 'Company of the Year' for the past 2 years, and more recently awarded ‘Socially Responsible Gaming Operator’ for the second consecutive year.

PURPOSE
Information Architects at Betfair work in conjunction with our Usability Consultants and Designers to define the user interface. They are comfortable tackling complex projects and combining innovative and analytical thinking to deliver a great user experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /DUTIES
- Develop a deep understanding of our target audiences, their behaviours, needs and expectations
- Work collaboratively with product managers, usability specialists, designers, business analysts and development to ensure the best possible experience for our users
- Develop use case scenarios as well as user profiles, personas and support user research
- Create interaction design concepts, define site structures, site maps and process flows
- Create wireframe designs, user experience audits/evaluations and prototypes
- Develop final UE design document for use by engineering
- Ongoing QA to ensure implementation reflects business requirements and design documentation

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- The key relationships beyond the User Experience team include business sponsors, product stakeholders (including P&L and Product Teams), engineering (development, QA and project management), content management, operations and other organizations.

THE PERSON
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Background in Information Architecture, Information Design, Experience Architecture or Interaction Design
- Experience in B2C transaction-oriented sites, ideally in the gaming, sports betting, gaming, or financial industries
- Solid understanding of web design and development
