phunQube, a user-centred design and research company, is currently seeking a Junior Researcher with up to 1 year's experience in conducting user research, reporting and analysis in the digital space to work out of our Shoreditch office. As a suitable candidate, you should have the following skills:
USABILITY TESTING, FOCUS GROUPS AND ANALYSIS You will work in our research area and should be able to: - Conduct user interviews and manage focus group participants - Analyse research results and make recommendations - Understand what research methods to use in different situations - Conduct independent research projects
CLIENT HANDLING Your role will entail a great deal of interaction with clients. This will include: - Meetings and workshops with clients - Presentations of results - Maintaining project-level communication with clients on projects - Addressing specific client concerns on projects
GENERAL Generally, you will need: - Excellent conceptual skills - Excellent documentation skills - Attention to detail - An awareness of HCI and UCD best practise - Excellent client-facing and teamwork skills
You will work on a range of projects for our clients, including content structuring, product and web services design and specification, and usability testing. We have worked on major projects for Channel 4, eBay, LOVEFiLM, First Plus, Sony, Sega, BBC Worldwide, Currys, Lloyds TSB, the National Assessment Agency, APACS, and others.
