Global Beach is seeking a Junior /Intermediate Information Architect on a contract basis, with the possibility of a permanent position.
Global Beach is a leading digital agency dedicated to creating inspired interactive solutions. Since 1993, we have developed thousands of projects for clients including Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, The Financial Times Group, Prudential, Hewlett-Packard, Sony, ITN Source, Center Parcs, Bowers & Wilkins and AAA (Automobile Club of America).
The role will require the IA to:
* Create and complete site content audits
* Produce detailed sitemaps documenting the structure of websites
* Produce annotated functional and visual wireframes of both web pages and specific functional components
* Help collect and collate business and user requirements
* Produce process flows that encapsulate business, user and system logic
* Produce documentation in industry standard formats and have a basic understanding of standard and new technologies such as AJAX, HTML, CSS
* Be able to combine all of the above within detailed functional design documents when required
* Have good knowledge of information architecture and user experience skills, including best practices for user-centred design
* Be enthusiastic and willing to work in an agile methodology when required
* Communicate equally well with a range of different people, including designers, developers and project managers
The ideal candidate would have a related qualification, preferably in information architecture or interaction design, and/or related experience. Global Beach is an exciting, equal-opportunity employer offering a competitive package of salary and benefits.
