With the support of our Head of Research, you will play a key part in expansion of the research team, delivering exceptional client work and helping to keep us one step ahead in terms of methodologies and digital user experience insights.
Joining our small but beautifully formed team, you will gain experience on exciting and innovative projects, in the UK and abroad, for a great range of clients, such as Channel 4, Five, Lovefilm, Amazon.com, First Plus, BBC Worldwide, Currys, Lloyds TSB and more. The job involves: - Supporting our Head of Research in the design of methodologies - Organising the nuts and bolts of research; participant recruitment, facilities, etc. - Carrying out a range of qualitative research methods; stakeholder interviews, ethnography, contextual inquiry, focus groups, interviews, prototype tests, remote usability tests, etc. - Others methods, such as online surveys, automated usability tests and eye-tracking - Analysis and reporting of research findings - Close co-operation with our design team to make workable, strategic recommendations; though not a design role, you will be expected to play a real part in forming solutions - Frequent contact with clients, including day-to-day management and presentations - Assistance in design and conduction of internal research projects as a basis for phunQube Insights whitepapers. You need to have: - At least two years’ experience carrying out and organising primarily qualitative research, either within user experience or market research environment - A keen interest in digital user experience - A good degree (2-1 or above, preferably with Masters) in an appropriate subject (psychology, human factors, human-computer interaction, cognitive science, etc.) - Excellent conceptual skills - Excellent documentation skills - Excellent client-facing and teamwork skills - Attention to detail.
