TV-centric Services Interactive Workshop - London

This one-day interactive workshop will bring together practitioners, service providers and researchers of TV-centric services to share and discuss findings and future directions in the field. The workshop is sponsored by FP6 IST UNIC and takes place on September 18th 2008 at University College London (UK).

The event includes
1. A keynote by Marianna Obrist from University of Salzburg,
2. Two in depth-sessions that provide ample opportunity for questions, comments and discussion on
a. designing for multiple services on one box (talks by D. Geerts and W. Seager),
b. services on secondary displays - from one to many boxes (talks by H. Knoche and P. Cesar),
3. A concluding plenary discussion on future developments and directions of TV-centric services with experts from Eutelsat, Motorola and Thales Alenia Space.

The workshop is part of a two-day event. The second day focuses on technical solutions to address the digital divide.
