We’re forming a new User Experience Team within FM&T Journalism, to create innovative User Experiences for the UK’s most popular News, Sport and Weather web and mobile offerings. The BBC Sport and BBC Weather websites get more UK traffic than each of their nearest three competitors combined. The BBC News website is visited by over five million unique users a day from around the globe. Join our team and you’ll affect the daily experience of millions of people through your UX Development work.
We're looking for a UX Developer for the team to work on key projects, building front-end solutions using mainly HTML/CSS. The overall team is made up of UX designers and developers. The ongoing redesign of the News, Sport and Weather sites are just a few examples of the type of projects you’ll be working on.
If you have considerable experience in CSS/HTML, a talent for championing industry developments and standards, an appreciation of design fundamentals and a passion for News and Sport, we want to hear from you.
