Client: Global Telecoms and Data Services provider
Location: London
Salary: £40K - £50K + benefits
Start date: ASAP

THE ROLE
This Global player requires a talented Graphics Designer to play a key role in the development of a highly innovative new range of mobile handsets. Working closely with the Information Architects and Interaction specialists within the team who will be defining solution functionality, your role will focus on the graphic design of touch-screen screen lay-outs. You will need to be able to take a wireframe and create something beautiful and simple to use.

The Group’s mission is specifically to take internet to mobile in a new and creative way and therefore it is essential that you are very closely in touch with online products and technologies, particularly those aimed at the youth market.

Reporting to the Head of UI Design, you will be working within a highly talented but compact team. It is essential therefore that you are creative, can work autonomously but can contribute in all aspects of the design process. In particular, the Group will be very interested in your own ideas to “mobilize” internet products.

THE PERSON
With a good degree and /or a solid background in Graphic Interaction Design, Multimedia or Ergonomics, you will offer the following:
• Experience in Graphic design for consumer products & Services
• Experience within the on-line space (mobile apps experience alone is not enough)
• Significant experience with Flash & other Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator…)
• A portfolio of relevant projects where you have developed creative & beautiful graphic design solutions

You will also be:
• Highly motivated and adaptable / comfortable in a fast-changing startup environment.
• Highly professional, with the ability to deliver excellent work on tight schedules.
• A clear communicator with excellent presentation skills
• A “Thinker” who is able to influence a cross-functional team.
