About Interaction

Founded in 1984, Interaction is the longest-established and largest national group in Europe devoted to HCI. A specialist group of the British Computer Society, Interaction publishes Interfaces, the award-winning quarterly magazine for members and the high-ranking international academic journal Interacting with Computers. The group also organises a prestigious annual international conference (HCI 2009 is in Cambridge in September) as well as regular workshops and events including the HCI Educators Conference held annually with IFIP (in Dundee Abertay in April 2009). Interaction runs a number of websites including the leading global usability portal, UsabilityNews.com.
