Media: AIGA Experience Design Summit Report on Boxes and Arrows

Just enough intelligent detail to make you want to know more... Boxes and Arrows reviews the contribution made by the AIGA Experience Design Summit in Las Vegas this month.

The report by participant Erin Malone gives a personal view as to what was of value when luminaries such as information architects Peter Morville and Lou Rosenfeld took to the podium, and what emerged as directions for design in the coming year.

It also gives an insight into the structure of the summit and how this was received by participants. The summit has a mixture of functions: networking and exchanging information as well as exploring trends and planning ways of contributing to the field. This record of the approach taken is in itself of interest for those considering how to get maximum value out of such gatherings.
