Fandango is looking for an Interaction Designer passionate about creating compelling user experiences that make the world a better place. In collaboration with a team of designers, product managers, and developers the Interaction Designer will advocate for the user, and ultimately deliver a moviegoing experience that will engage and delight.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE • Lead interaction design through the entire product lifecycle, providing a range of tools and deliverables, including: - use cases, user task flows - persona development - user interface concepts and interaction models - annotated wireframes - information architecture , navigational structure - documentation of design concept in detailed UI specs • Effectively communicate interaction models and design ideas to the team, leveraging above tools / documents. • Identify appropriate user research techniques and metrics for gauging success. • Guide product direction and set UI requirements based on user research, functional requirements, and business goals. • Work with consumer research to recommend concepts for testing and interpret consumer feedback /results.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of 5+ years of experience on a user experience team with a track record of defining interaction design on large-scale web, mobile and/or desktop applications. • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in HCI, product design, human factors or related field. • Expertise applying user-centered design principles, analytical and conceptual design skills, and the ability to promote effective cross-platform product development processes. • Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems.
