Customer Experience Internship - London

We are offering a full-time internship at our office in London, giving someone the chance to work on usability projects including testing, training and research, user recruitment, wireframing and more!
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with and assist the customer experience team. This can include any of the following:
* Planning and conducting user research, including methods such as: usability studies, competitive analysis, user surveys, expert reviews and more. * Creating presentations and reports, personas, user journeys, wireframes, sitemaps, content audits and style guides. * Preparation or training materials, course notes, CD Roms, delegate lists and more. * Technical testing such as accessibility testing against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 1.0 and 2.0. * Functionality testing and cross browser testing for a range of clients. * You will also assist in the pre and post set-up necessary for conducting research.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - You must be currently enrolled on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme or have graduated from an accredited graduate programme in the area of Cognitive, Experimental or Industrial Psychology, Interaction Design, Human Factors or Human Computer Interaction. Prototyping skills (e.g. Visio, Axure) are desired but not required as can be learnt on the job. - You are expected to have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Computer skills are a must with medium to good typing skills. Experience with Office applications (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint) and the Internet are required. You must have the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
WHAT WE ARE OFFERING This is a paid internship of flexible duration but we would look to work with the right person for 6 weeks. The position provides a salary of £120 per week plus travel expenses. All applicants preferably need to be London based for the working hours of 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
The person will need to be self-directed and able to manage time effectively. More importantly, we will provide excellent references for the right candidate after the project has come to an end and may even make a job offer for the future.
