Starting salary from £19,185 - £21,565 per annum pro rata with further progression opportunities to £23,566

Bournemouth University is seeking someone with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to provide research and technical support in developing the commercial potential of the Eye Tracker. This role is a 12-month fixed term to support a project on ‘An Eye Tracker Consultancy Service for HCI and User Experience Evaluation'. The aim of this project is to develop knowledge and technical know-how for the use of the Eye Tracker in new commercial areas, such as interactive online environments, usability and advertising. The work will initially involve academic background research and the liaison with industry to explore markets and demand. After this, you will set-up and pilot the system to ensure it is reliable for commercial use. Once set-up, you will also assist with marketing activities, the launch of the consultancy and demonstration and training workshops. This is an exciting and varied role and would suit a graduate or post-graduate with a Psychology, Media or ICT background."

Appointment will be made on a 0.5 FTE basis.
