Media: Bloug looks at Usability Promotion

Source: Bloug, 28 October 2002
Submitted by Ann Light

'Care to join me in some brainstorming?' asks Lou Rosenfeld, and a good number of people have. Rosenfeld outlines the most popular arguments he can think of to persuade developers to invest in user experience design. He comes up with:
* The ROI Case
* Going to the Videotape
* Telling Stories
* Therapy
* Consumer Sensitivity Boot Camp
* Logs
* Keeping up with the Joneses

It's witty and the additional suggestions and modifications from his readers are entertaining - and thought-provoking - too.

My favourite addition is from Josh:

'I have been streaming a live feed of the usability testing to the executives. They rarely have time to watch, but just seeing one has really built up interest.'
