IwC gets Wider Distribution as Success Strikes

"Interacting with Computers" (IwC), the journal produced by the British HCI Group, has risen in its citation impact over the last five years to be one of the best of the journals published in the developing HCI area. It now ranks second for citations – a measure of the impact that a journal is having on its academic community.

This is likely to increase again as ISI has just accepted IwC for inclusion in the Social Sciences Citation index. Before, the journal was only listed in the Science Citation Index. Both these provide online access to journal articles in the relevant fields.

Meanwhile, the journal publisher Elsevier is making the contents of IwC available to those subscribing to its ScienceDirect service, a database of thousands of research journals, bibliographic databases and reference works.

IwC takes pieces of interest to an HCI and usability audience, putting them through a full academic peer review process. If you are interested in submitting a paper, have a look at the website below.
